First, I would like to thank the congregation for the warm welcome Pat, and I received on our first Sunday back at Peace. Thank You!
Wow, the New Year is here!! Looking forward to new beginnings and new opportunities to reach, grow, and empower others to serve the Lord.
Let’s go on this adventure together. I love new opportunities. Birth, growth, and renewal are what life is really all about.
As we move into a new year and new opportunities. What will they be? How will we respond to God’s call? Ephesians 4:11 says that “11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God.”
These gifts are gifts of leadership. What leadership does Peace need? The call committee is searching for a Sr. Pastor. The Church Council has openings, and many ministries within Peace need leaders. But before you have leaders, you need to know “Where are we going?”
Now is the time to search your heart and seek the Lord for direction and the leadership to lead Peace into the New Year 2026.
I am committed to helping you train and plan for the future of Peace. I am asking you to pray and seek His face for yourself and for the congregation. Some priorities have been indicated by the surveys done. You have the desire to move forward and make Peace Lutheran Church a beacon of God’s love and Grace in the community.
