Peace
Lutheran Preschool
Peace Lutheran Preschool is an Early Childhood program designed to meet the early education needs of young children in the Palm Bay/Melbourne area. We serve Lutheran and non-Lutheran families in the spiritual and educational growth of their children ages 20 months to 5 years. We emphasize preparation for kindergarten with low ratios, large classrooms and hands on experience in a Christian Family atmosphere. We have a Nursery which is available for every Sunday Service and is attended by Betty Sheller. Sunday School
Children’s Church meets every Sunday during both services of worship. Bring your children to worship with you. Following the Pastor’s Children’s Message, the children go to Children’s Church. Children 5 years old and younger may go to the nursery. Children 6 years old through sixth grade may go to Children’s Church. The children return to worship in time for the distribution of Holy Communion and the blessing of the children.
First Communion
All children who have already received Holy Communion are welcomed to receive it at Peace regardless of age. We do offer six weeks of First Communion classes in the spring for children in 3rd through 5th grade and schedule a time for them to receive First Communion once the classes are completed. However, if a child expresses the desire to receive Holy Communion at a younger age and the parents affirm this desire, the family can meet privately with the Pastor for instruction. VBS
Each summer we plan one great week of bible learning through Vacation Bible School. This is interactive learning at its best while hearing about the best possible message of all, salvation in Jesus Christ. Our Vacation Bible School includes bible study, worship, crafts, games, and snacks. |
